Simplicity is best, fresh spinach and cheese make a great combination. Hand made using the finest Italian flour for a smooth pastry pocket, then filled with fresh spinach and Gran Padano cheese.... very moreish.
A fantastic snack for when you want something quick and healthy but not too filling. Pop them straight in the oven after work and then relax for 15 minutes with a cool drink!
Cooking Tips: Place them on a silicone baking mat and then pop in the oven. (180 degrees from frozen) for 12-15 minutes
TOP TIP: To get a really golden colour, paint the empanadas with an egg wash ( 1 beaten egg). We dont recommend basting in oil or butter as I did the first time, this makes the pastry go hard
