The black legged 'Poulet Noir' is a première free range chicken reared by the French house 'Label Rouge' and is known for its amazing flavour and popularity with chefs around the Continent.
Incredibly succulent and juicy and what makes this bird really different is the flavour and texture of the meat. It tastes like a true wild bird and you won't find any fat left in the roasting dish after cooking.
At a recent dinner party our guests couldn't believe just how big the legs were! The Poulet Noir has some of the longest legs you'll find on a chicken, measuring over 12cm.
Taste: Outdoor naturally reared flavour
Tenderness: Succulent and juicy
Texture: Meatier texture
