    Flank is a hindquarter cut and traditionally lends itself to slower cooking. But no matter how you prepare it, the one important trick to making flank steak easy to enjoy is the way you carve it. As long as you slice it across the grain, the steak will fall apart in your mouth. We particularly like cooking a whole flank steak, letting it rest for a while, then holding the knife at a 45-degree angle and slicing into paper thin slices.


    Marinating the flank steak before cooking will add flavour and tenderize the meat. Try a mix of olive oil, soy sauce, vinegar, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic,and ground black pepper ... Mmmm delicious!
