Almost limey in colour, this is a splendid rich, full bodied viognier singing of the freshest, ripe peaches balanced with good acidity. It has a surprising complexity demonstrating that this producer, along with their Sauvignon Blanc, is determined to make wines that beg to be noticed. This wine brings to mind joyously rowdy outdoor lunches with lots of fresh salad dishes, and cold meats, which is how we recommend it is drunk, except in the winter when perhaps the kitchen would be better suited.
